Mathematics is a form of language, and because of its natural immunity against subjectivity, we can be rest assured it is a form of language among others to hold the truth in an indivisible way. In the range of language form spectrum, mathematics sits on one end of the range, whereas spoken language and music, also other form of languages are located on the other, opposite end of the range. In contrast, spoken language and music are not immune to subjectivity, and the truth can be muddled about with the unconscious bias, and tremendous effort is required to synthesise it correctly. Present day humans have a gap in synthesising subjective information, in a truly transparent way. For now, we have to rely on language forms on the other end of the range, where mathematics sits.

To see why truth exist in binary, one just need to look into the possibilities of basic mathematics.

With addition, we have the opposite, subtraction. With multiplication, we have the opposite, division. For square, we have the opposite, square-root. There is an opposite to every opposite. In all cases, notice that there is an opposite that just, seems harder to grasp than the other opposite. For me, subtraction, division, square-root is less intuitive than addition, multiplication, square (to grasp this you need to be very focused), and I believe it’s the same for everybody else.

Now, here is a thought experiment to go deep on that.

Imagine that 1/0 is on the right end of the spectrum. And imagine that 1x0 is on the left side of the spectrum. You can easily deduce 1x0 = 0, and were able to acknowledge the truth with ease. Now try to tackle 1/0, isn’t that a lot harder? Maybe perhaps we could try 1/ 0.1 since 0.1 is closer to 0, that is 10. What about 1/0.000001, we are getting closer to the answer aren’t we? No. It goes on 1/0.0000000000000000001, and as long as there is a number that we can create from 0, no matter how small, we will get an answer, but we do not seem to get the real answer, but only an approximation of the truth.

We feel an inner resistance to grasp the difficulty of getting the truth on the right side of the scale, because it presents us with an unknown, and the ego’s existence does not depend on the unknown. It’s survival depends on the known and avoiding the unknown. Therefore, assuming that we are under control by the ego, we avoid it subconsciously. This will only result in us avoiding a truth. Present day humans are affected by this as long as they are not awakened, i.e. the truth will be out of reach for most as long as they are driven by the ego.

To reiterate. Notice, for a given context, how there is always an easy way to do one thing, and the opposite of that is always degrees harder? And yet, most of us choose the easy route and managed to uncover one side of the truth, but what about the other side of the truth? It is assumed to be non-existent because it’s hard, and therefore not looked upon. Another side of the truth that not many has ever grasp because few have the will to dedicate their energy on the right side of the spectrum for long, with the exceptions of brilliant mathematicians in the context of 1/0 and 1x0 dichotomy.

Whenever you encounter a problem that ignites resistance within you, and you eventually rest on the easy route. Think about the 1/0 and 1x0 dichotomy. Get into the present, and question yourself.

Have you looked to the right?
